Influences of Mexico's Drug Trafficking War

Today, drug wars throughout Mexico’s underground economy challenge the Mexican and American authorities. Unfortunately, drug related gangs contribute towards the rising levels of violence throughout the United States and Mexico. As a result, military forces and federal officials regain control by limiting the violence between drug cartels and rival gangs. However, disputes between government officials and drug related gangs contribute towards the illegal flow of narcotics and firearms. In addition, inefficient policies enhanced drug trafficking organizations and operation. Overall, government officials must re-examine existing policies and control illegal narcotics to reduce the drug related crimes throughout the country.
Drug trafficking routes throughout Mexico.
Permanent struggles throughout Mexico’s drug trafficking war contribute towards the rising levels of violence throughout the United States. Unfortunately, drug related gangs distribute meth, cocaine, marijuana, and heroin throughout the United States. In addition, drug related gangs control four major drug trafficking organizations throughout Mexico. As a result, territorial disputes between drug cartels and rival gangs claimed over 50,000 innocent lives since 2006.
Juarez, Mexico (Left), El Paso, Texas (Right).
Violent disputes between drug cartels and rival gangs claimed over 3,100 lives throughout Juarez. As a result, government officials claimed territorial disputes contributed towards the highest homicides rates throughout Mexico. Unfortunately, drug cartels and rival gangs established criminal organizations throughout local communities. As a result, drug cartels and rival gangs distribute illegal narcotics throughout the United States.
Locals experiencing drug related violence.
In “The Logic of Durg-Related Violence,” Miriam Eberle stated, “Mexico has experienced a dramatic escalation of drug-related violence under Mexican President Calderon which has reached a level of intensity and atrocity transcending previous periods of drug-related violence.” Since 2006, Felipe Calderon initiated anti-drug campaigns to reduce the rising levels of violence throughout the United States and Mexico. However, drug related gangs influenced government officials and federal forces. As a result, local communities throughout Mexico experience violent disputes between drug cartels and rival gangs on a daily basis. Overall, Calderon’s unsuccessful campaign contributed towards the illegal flow of narcotics and firearms.

Igniting illegal narcotics.
On October 18th, 2010, military forces and federal officials seized over 134 tons of marijuana throughout Tijuana. Overall, military officials ignited over $200 million worth of illegal narcotics (within two days). General Alfonso Duarte, the commander of Tijuana’s military Zone, claimed heavily armed military forces raided and confiscated over 15,300 packets of marijuana. As a result, military forces incarcerated 11 suspected traffickers and cartels.
Marijuana.
Over 134 tons of marijuana were contained throughout six cargo containers and relocated throughout Tijuana’s military base. Unfortunately, the marijuana was intended for distribution throughout the Untied States.
Automatic weapons seized from heavily armed drug cartels.
However, disputes between government officials and drug related gangs contribute towards the illegal flow of narcotics and firearms.

Drug wars throughout Mexico’s underground economy contribute towards the rising levels of violence throughout the United States. Unfortunately, drug related gangs challenge government officials and federal forces throughout local communities. As a result, territorial disputes between drug cartels and rival gangs heightened the flow of illegal narcotics. Unfortunately, over 90 percent of weapons concealed by drug cartels originated from the United States. As a result, government officials must re-examine existing policies and ineffective procedures.

Paramilitary forces.
Federal forces.
Over 45,000 troops helped federal officials regain control throughout local communities and neighborhoods. However, unjustified murders and illegal drug operations occur throughout Mexico’s underground economy. For decades drug related gangs influenced heavily armed paramilitary forces and federal officials. As a result, government officials and military forces are incapable of controlling drug trafficking organizations.
Drug related violence.
On May 14th, 2012 Lydia Warren claimed “The bodies of 23 people have been found hanging from a bridge or decapitated and dumped along the border city of Nuevo Laredo, where drug cartels are fighting a bloody and escalating turf war…Hours later, police found 14 human heads inside coolers outside city hall along with a threatening note. The 14 bodies were found in black plastic bags inside a car abandoned near an international bridge.” Drug cartels and rival gangs generate fear throughout local communities and neighborhoods. Unfortunately, Drug cartels posted a banner and stated “Fucking (Golfas) whores, this is how I’m going to finish off every fucker you send to heat up the plaza. You have to fuck up sometime and that is when I’m going to put you in your place. That’s when we are going to fuck up "El Gringo" that keeps setting off car bombs, Juanito Carrizales that keeps crying like a bitch because I killed that fucker "El Tubi",  "El Metro 4" who asked Comandante Lazcano for mercy when he was kicking the shit out of him, "El R1" in Reynosa, now you’re pitching a fit, that’s ok, I left you your guys, the others got away, but Ill get them, sooner or later. See you around fuckers.” Drug cartels and rival gangs established criminal organizations throughout the United States and Mexico. Therefore, communities continually encounter violent disputes.
Corrupt police units.
In “Mexico Cracks Down on Local Police Corruption,” David Luhnow claimed, “Federal police raided several local police stations in northern Nuevo León state Tuesday, as part of a sweep to try to clean up local forces allegedly corrupted by drug-trafficking gangs The raids came a day after heavily armed federal police engaged in a tense standoff with local officers in Monterrey, Mexico's third-biggest city.” Government officials and federal forces incarcerated over 78 police officers allegedly influenced by drug trafficking organizations. In addition, military forces raided local police stations throughout Nuevo Leon and discovered a list of officers paid by Gulf cartels.

Drug cartels and Rival gangs control local businesses throughout the United States and Mexico. In “Mexican Fronts For Drug Cartels Thrive In Spite of U.S. Awareness,” Mark Stevenson and Eduardo Castillo claimed, “The U.S. Treasury Department says the Sinaloa cartel uses the Mexico City restaurant and a web of other companies ranging from a cattle ranch to an office supplies store to launder millions of dollars in drug profits each year.” Unfortunately, drug related gangs distribute legal tender throughout local businesses, despite the federal forces and government officials. As a result, drug profits contribute towards the illegal flow of narcotics throughout the United States and Mexico. Overall, drug related gangs generate an estimated annual of $10-$29 billions.
The Department of Justice building.
Unfortunately, Government officials disregard the inefficient policies contributing towards the war on drugs. In addition, the Department of Justice initiated inefficient policies and procedures throughout Mexico’s drug trafficking war. As a result, the persistent flow of illegal narcotics increased the indisputable concerns between government officials and rival gangs. However, exposing the criminal organizations and trafficking operations throughout the United States reduces the heavily armed drug cartels. Therefore, government officials must re-examine existing policies and control illegal narcotics to reduce the drug related crimes throughout the country.
